How to improve NAVMAN 3450 data rate.

I have a GPS Navman 3450 with a Ipaq H5450.

The update frequency rate is 2 seconds, I don't know if it's possible to reduce that, I think that before it fixes the satellites the rate is 1 second soI'm sure is capable of that.

I only have the original driver, I don't find new firmwares or anything, all links are down, because its from 2003.

The reason to improve that is to use the racechrono software with more accuracy.
