Thanks, again :-)

Another one, only because I just saw this on a now discontinued US model.
Do they all allow portrait display? That would 100% make my mind up as I have a perfect unobtrusive spot for a device in portrait orientation.

:-)

Having an issue with the just released database, I'm told I'm missing matching sound files for pmobile_1sixty and pmobile_25 ??

Also told there shouldn't be numbers in those files (which I knew). Haven't changed anything my end so is anyone else having success with the new database?

Seems possible that it's another teensy weensy mistake by MaFt?
I'll have a go now suss

My apologies to MaFt. Downloaded, direction converted and GPX converted all no problem.
Try another D/L suss.

At least the error trapping is working Very Happy

If you get the same error with a second download then I'll give it a go.

Still getting it, only with the two pmobile ones I mentioned above, can't imagine a pmobile_25 so suspect it is a database issue somewhere. Note I'm still on v43 (44?)

Just done another D/L via direction converter. This indicated that there were "2 cameras not processed" then processed in GPX converter. All OK.
I wonder if the 2 cameras not processed in Direction converter are the dodgy ones.
Ah, found them. Downloaded the file reqd for GPX converter and they wer there when unzipped.

I've also got missing sound files for all _tba cams so it seems that TBAs are handled differently in Direction converter to that in GPX converter, as I get no 'missing sound files' warning in 'GPX converter' after having processed the 'Direction Converter' zip file.

What's happening K? Seems that Direction converter can deal with rogues but GPX converter can't.

I haven't a clue at the moment.

I downloaded the speed zoned set last Thursday and that one went in without issue.

The 2 cameras it ignores are the 2 known ones. One Gatso and One Specs.

If you are getting a 25mph file then something must be amiss with the download?

Once I've done painting I'll see what I get.

If you download the CM3 file required by Direction converter, run direction converter then run GPX converter at the result, you get no error. If you download the Garmin POIloader file required by GPX converter, that's when the errors occur. So either the downloads are different, or the Direction converter is getting rid of the erroneous cams somehow.

Just downloaded the latest speed zoned set and there is a rogue pMobile_25 file in it.

My answer is to go into Windows and delete that CSV file from the directory.

The reason the directional is probably not processing those cameras is because it's only looking for the known speeds.

We had this a few weeks back. All the expected ones are there so it's an additional.

The included camera is 184042 which is new. It's been reported as 25mph and it's on the A46, southbound just south of Owthorpe.

Looking at the submission map there are a load of additional speeds available so I reckon a submission error.
If you want it though you will need a matching Sound and Picture file.

So what should I be doing when these are found ?

This is one for MaFt really. Does he wants 25mph being reported when there are no UK 25mph zones?

I didn't get that 1sixty. Is that via the directional data?

If it is then there is a bug in the directional program. I put the 'sixty' in for mobiles when no speed is found so it gets included with a default sensible proximity. Where the 1 is coming from is a mystery.

I'll download the SC file in the morning.

Wonder if it's the same camera?

Nope, not using that. It's another entry in the database

MaFt, Are you on this?
In the Garmin POILoader [UK - Speed Zoned Complete | pMobiles: Yes | French: No | Swiss: No ](14.054 - 25 May 2016) Download there is the 25MPH one but there's no 160 that I can see. Which one are you downloading suss?

The 25 MPH is 184042 Southbound on the A46 right next to a firm called Morely PC & Son. I wonder how much of a co-incidence That is?
