The latest map updates for Europe are out and should be on your myGarmin Dashboard or in your lifetime map updater _________________ Navigon 92 Premium Live, TomTom 60 & 1000, Garmin 2545, 3790 & 2310, Mio Navman 689 & M610, Samsung Galaxy Note CoPilot Live, Route 66 & Sygic, Apple iPhone4 & iPad2 Navigon & Mio GPS Cradle |

If anyone is updating maps then I recommend not using lifetimeupdater, there are far too many bugs in it. Instead log into myGarmin and use Option 2 when downloading map updates |

Agree, after my last attempts, won't try that for a while. Option 2 works fine everytime! _________________ Navigon 92 Premium Live, TomTom 60 & 1000, Garmin 2545, 3790 & 2310, Mio Navman 689 & M610, Samsung Galaxy Note CoPilot Live, Route 66 & Sygic, Apple iPhone4 & iPad2 Navigon & Mio GPS Cradle |

Great ... it does work for some but there are far too many stories of folks struggling with it to make it reliable for all just yet |

Updated successfully using Option 2, as it was over 4 gig it asked me what I wanted installed, so I backtracked to just Western Europe as that is good enough for me, even though I have a 16 gig microSD card to use if necessary.
Now that I have BT Infinity 2 it takes less time as well. The final installation showed 4 hours on screen, but as soon as it started it dropped to 74 minutes, and installed totally just under that time.

| The maps has been updated to show the route of the Hindhead Tunnel but not the new ish (ie several years old) motorway north west of Malaga |

Keep reporting them. Then it gets sorted (eventually).
Another glitch is the address for Guildford (Mainline) station.
It will send you to the back entrance in Guildford Park Road, when it should take you to Walnut Tree Close & Station View for the main car parks.
Guildford Station
Station Approach
Guildford
GU1 4UT
If ever you want to go there, don't go to the Guildford Park Road side, you will find that you get a long walk from the Council car park to the station, the footbridge to car park entrance is only open during peak periods (NOT weekends & Bank Holidays), you will be amazed how many people try & get in that way.
Please note: If you use the footbridge to car park entrance you MUST have a ticket, otherwise you will be stung a penalty fare (currently £20 or double the fare to your destination, will be £50 shortly.) _________________ Be alert.. This country needs more lerts. |
