I have just been contacted by Support services as I still have a problem with my 740L after the two latest application updates.
Basically they have told me to do a "factory reset" and then note down any messages and send the the system information etc. So they can check if I have a faulty device
-- they have checked the SIM number[20 digits long !!]
and it might? be that -- but they want to be sure.
I remember that I did this once before and lost every thing
-- Favourites -- Poi's -- phone book the lot
I know that there is a specific folder for
Favourites = mapsettings.cfg I think
and the phone numbers = contacts.txt
It is all the other stuff like my Poi's in the maps
and any other things.
Our speed cams I can do over with new file.
I have down loaded the last one
I suppose Voices will be on Tom-tom Home??
What should I copy over into a file on my desk top for use when it is "restored"
So that I can cut and paste over later
Help please _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |

Thanks -- read it and printed it..
Will have a go -- even if it means cut and pasting all the individual Poi's etc
I will still have them on my desk top _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |
