Here:
http://www.tomtom.com/updates/zipcodes/Map_885/zip.zip
Download and use WinRar to extract the contents to a folder called zip (all lower case) in the root of the unit. _________________ David

Many thanks for the download.
I have installed post codes before a while ago but I keep getting post codes that don't show up or show a wrong street when input, so just wanted to see if the latest codes are any better and more up to date, I also regularly get no result with post codes but do find the address when typed in as town/street.
I presume I am right in thinking that even with the latest post codes that if it is a new road the unit wont find it on older maps (2010 truck) anyway.
You would think it would up date the zip along with other up dates when connected to home. |

Have v890 maps been released, or do you know something we don't? _________________ Jock

I think it's the relevant Postcode File that is being referred to. _________________ Richard

Ah, yes! Well, in that case, I can confirm it's still not live, now, too! _________________ Jock

The new postcode files usually lag behind the map release date by a couple of weeks or so. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
