imac useage

Hi,
When i download my camera files i notice in my POI folder I have alot of files with a Red box where an icon should be ...am i right in saying I can just delete these files of my Tom Tom as it is just something my imac puts in the folder ?

We can't really give any advice until we have more details.

You say you notice these file in your "POI folder". Where?
Are they in a folder on the Mac?
Or do you mean in the POI list on the TomTom itself? (you don't put the files in the 'POI' folder on the TomTom - they go in the map folder).

And wherever they are, what are they called? Can you give an example of a file name?
And if they are on the Mac what is the FULL file name including any three letter extension after a dot?
