lots of good points here regarding police perches ( i have seen them used by camera vans on the A470) i agree it would be pointless reporting every police perch on every road but it would be good if any of us that do see them in use to report it to Pocketgpsworld so that way they would go onto the data base.

where not in the USA where most police car's have speed cameras built in to them, so they can even see your speed going in the other directions and have them running all the time """YET""" Twisted Evil i look foreword to that day Very Happy

But this is what is/should already be happening - where such a perch is seen actually being used to trap speeding motorists, then it is recorded in the database.

Where it is just being used to park up while the occupants eat their sandwiches (or "monitor traffic") then it's not required in the database.
