Having just bought my first Garmin (Nulink 2390) I have Live Traffic and TrafficTrends. I understand the latter works from historical data. The question is, do they work with each other or against each other? If I am using Live Traffic, should I turn TrafficTrends on or off? My thinking is this:
• If there is usually traffic on a particular road at a particular time of day (TrafficTrends) but today it is clear then I want to use that road
• If there is usually traffic on a particular road at a particular time of day, if it has traffic now it will be captured by Live Traffic anyway
The only flaw I can see in this argument is if TrafficTrends covers roads that Live Traffic does not.
