Hi,
My Mitac Mio has finally died, I am wanting to replace it with a new TomTom but I seem to remember seeing somthing about new TomToms not allowing Safety Camera updates.
Is this true, if so which models will allow updates?

There is no issue with loading third party POI files to the newer devices, what you have been reading will have been threads from the time the Go-1000/ 1005 were introduced where it was impossible to load anything to them, this has since been rectified with updates to the MyTomTom interface and the Navcore on the device.
You still can't back up the new units to your computer and installation of POI files is somewhat different to what you will be used to but it does indeed work - Mike
