Which Garmin should I get? Help please :D

I was planning on buying myself a Road Angel Vantage for christmas but at £180 plus a £60 a year subscription fee I decided to shop around first.
An article on the nüLink!T 2390 made me really start thinking about Garmin products. The article was great but when I read some user reviews it didn't seem so appealing.

So thats why I'm here really!
The main function I need is the speed camera warning facility.
Does the speed camera facility work even if there is no route planned?
I would prefer to have an 800x480 resolution screen.
What is this NuLink business I've been reading about.
What kind of subscription charges are there for Garmin products if any?
I dont mind paying, as long as I'm getting a decent product.
I like the look of the traffic camera feature. Do you only get this with a NuLink enabled device?

What would be the best product to go for?

Is the extra £40 worth it to go from the 3760T to the 3790T. Are the only differences voice navigation and 3D terrain/buildings.

Access to the Garmin Cyclops speed camera database is £19.99 a year.

PGPSW spped cam dbase is only 14.99 pa if you get it quick.

3760 vs 3790 yes differences are voice and 3D etc. Voice is worth having if you interact with your unit alot on the road.

Traffic camera do you mean FM traffic flow data - that is not dependent on nulink which is a live gprs data feed i think espcially fior the 2012 series of garmins.

speed cam warnings work if no route planned as long as proximity alerts are set.

if you only really want speed cam warnings thses are over spec for you. you may as well use an old unit with proper POI icons.
