How do I unlink an apple device

I have a new iPhone but cannot link it to my account as it says I have 3 devices ready linked. How do I unlink my old phone?

Now will my bluddy broadband PLEASE get back up off it's knees - it's doing 0.19Mb/s. A few days ago it did 30.06. A nice man is coming tomorrow and if he doesn't make it do proper stuff, I may detain him indefinitely! Evil or Very Mad
