Hi,
I am trying to find the address of a campsite in South of France but the Sat. Nav. does not find it.

This is the address:
postcode: 83530
Destination: Saint-Raphaël, Route Forestière de Roussivau

Sat. Nav does find the correct postcode but can not find "Route Forestière de Roussivau"

Any suggestions please?

You don't say which SatNav you are using, but have you tried using just the Town and Road Names?

On my TT910 I can input Saint-Raphaël as the Town.

Then I can choose Route Forestière de Roussivau as the street.

It's quite a long road but I have the option to choose Avenue Des Golfs as a crossing (the south end), or Anywhere, which moves the location to roughly the middle of it's length.

This is at approx. N43.45469, E6.83137

The 910 doesn't list 83530 as a French Code.

In the middle of my posting the 2nd thread was locked!

Campings les Pieds
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Campings+les+Pieds&sll=43.454218,6.832855&sspn=0.000621,0.001207&ie=UTF8&ll=43.454218,6.832855&spn=0.001242,0.002414&t=k&z=19

Using Google maps and satelite view - centre on the gate of the Caravan site.
Then look on the link option on the right of the satelite view and that link is the one posted above.43.454218,6.832855

create a new waypoint in the unit anywhere - then edit that waypoint to the location using the location detail within the link I gave you
43.454218,6.832855

You now have the waypoint for the site gate!

Easier if you have Mapsource on the PC.

How do you get to have a package like MapSource installed and not know you have it?

I guess it was installed when I first connected the Garmin sat nav to the laptop. Never used it before.
Thanks

MapSource is installed off CD/DVD which is why I am surprised you have it without realising.
