Amaryllo Trinity GPS/TMC receiver on HTC TyTNII

I've recently bought a GPS/TMC receiver to use with iGO on my TyTnII. After pairing, this works well.
Until tonight....I've switched off the GPS/TMC since the battery was nearly dead an I only had to go some 50km's.
When I switched it off, I lost GPS fix as well. Turns out that iGO was using the external GPS also for location, not only TMC.

The only way to get the internal GOS back to work again was to complete remove the pait between the TyTn and the Amaryllo.


What I need is to use the TyTn's internal GPS for location and the external GPS/TMC for TMC data. Or an easy way to switch from internal/external GPS.

Any help is dearly appreciated.

Looks as if I've solved it by setting the serial port for the Trinity to COM1. Now, iGO finds the TMC/GPS when BT is on and uses this as GPS/TMC source. When BT is switched off, iGO returns to the internal GPS.
Wonder why this didn't work when I set the port to COM6.
