Darren - It strikes me that maybe there is a need for a POI set of Width Restrictions within PGPSW to help alleviate the situation?

Certainly it wouldn't need that many sub categories as 6'-6" seems to be a reasonably common restriction I have come across. I am thinking maybe sub cats in 6" increments starting at ' Up to 6 feet wide' and finishing with an 'In Excess of 9 feet wide', as generally anything that wide often has an escort and should have pre-checked the route.

From experience, I know what it is like to get stuck at a width restriction point and then have to sort out the resolution without causing traffic chaos.
