I am trying to send overlays to my Dell X51vfrom my Garmin 60csx.
I have a connection from the GPS to the Dell Ok as I can get a position and satellite readings up.
However I cannot get the information to import (or export) between the two.
The import/export options are greyed out.
The Garmin is set to NMEA at 4800 and like wise the Dell. I have tried playing about with various settings but no luck
Any ideas please |

Sorted it.
Both have to be set to Garmin protocol.
Strangely, it then wont show the satellite view even though it has a fix. |

I think this is one of those cases where the s/w (MemoryMap) is designed to show your position using NMEA data (using any manufacturer's GPS) but it hos to do other things by the proprietary GPS protocol. _________________ Phil |
