Hello
May need a new GPS. Found this on the Ebay. Solar BT GPS w/ 32 Channels. Something very similar in solar GPS reviews w/ fewer channels and I think a different chipset. Looks like a good Ebay Seller. Any opinions on this device?
Thanks

Hello,
The review does cover the version as sold on Ebay. I missed the new 32 channel listed on the chart in the review. And it is in a bright red font, I apologize.

For car, plane, sightseeing, and hiking it seems my best choices are the 32 ch solar or the quality of the BT-359s. I would appreciate any feedback. I am relatively new to GPSs, I have a Garmin 195 and a very short lived, I think dead i360. So, I will count my next one as my first GPS.
Thanks

The only place where you may need 32 channels is in urban canyons. Everywhere else 12 channels are more than enough.

The solar BT receiver comes with either SiRF III or Nemerix chipset. If you want performance, take the SiRF III version. If you want a bit more battery life, take the Nemerix.
