D3- No Satellite Fix Shown But Working !!!

hi. i used to use SmartST V2 and i am now trying D3 v3.0.09. I haven't uninstall the SmartST V2. I am using Navman 3450 SE as my GPS receiver with a 256CF. I can use the D3 and plan route and everything but what I can't understand is when i click in the 'gps status' it would show no sattelites and it also shows a blinking LAT and LON, date (which is 11/9/02) and time and no green color for any sattelite fix. and this is happening even if i am driving with complete navigation with a FIX.. it's only the 'gps status' that i don't see any sattelite fix.
do i need to reinstall everything? uninstall SmartST V2?

Please refrain from using all capital letters - that's considered shouting.

Your receiver transmits all the necessary NMEA sequences for navigation, but it does not send the sequences that contain the satellite status data (GSA, GSV). You can either live with it (since navigation obviously works) or reprogram your receiver to deliver these sequences as well. You can use Crux_view for the programming.
