TTN6 on Mio P550

Hey all,

After breaking my Acer N35 yesterday, I got a Mitac Mio P550 shipped which arrived this morning. I selected it because it had bluetooth, GPS and wifi all built in, which meant I could leave a SD storage card in the SD slot.

Anyway, Ive just gone to purchase "TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 - Software & Maps of Western Europe" for it. However I notice that it isnt a listed product on TomTom's site. Is this because it isnt a new product and TT haven't confirmed that it's a supported hardware model, or because it doesn't work?

So my question is:

Does anyone have TTN6 working on a Mio P550 ... before I purchase it.
If not, what other products would you recommend that have been tested and work on it.

Essentially I want:
Accurate door to door mapping and navigation, mainly using 7 digit postcode.
Clear navigation commands and quick re-routing.
Possibly the use of my mobile phone for GPRS connectivity for traffic (not essential).

I look forward to your advice.

P550 is relatively new (so is TT6) so TomTom may not have tested it. That may be the reason it is not on their list.

I see no reason why TT6 doe not work in it.
