Thanks for the quick reply Darren, I'm going to give it a try then.

What parts do I need as I'm pretty sure I'll order the wrong kit and who supplies the items in the UK. No drilling/screws right?....

Thanks.
Tim

I’m not to keen on drilling my dash as it seems the Brodits are fond off this method unless I’m mistaken.

The Brodit ProClips are designed to fit to your car without any drilling. They also create a much more stable base to couple the holder to.

Give Handnav a call, there are many cradle types, ones with sync port pass-thru, others with 12v power and a cigarette lighter plug or hard-wire and ones with a speaker in the cradle. You can see all the options at [www.brodit.com]Brodit's Website[/url] and you can also decide which location you want to mount it and identify the correct ProClip.

If you need clarification on whether the cradle you have chosen is right for you just ask.

Hi
If any body is thinking of using a Brodit hardwired holder with a Royaltek Sapphire gps then read on.
Just before xmas I purchased a Ipaq 2210 , Brodit hardwired holder with the speaker and a Royaltek gps from Handnav,
As the ps2 socket on the mount does not fit the Royaltek plug I was told by Handnav to chop the plug off the gps and wire it up direct.
Easy I thought.
Not so.
After many phone calls to Brodit Sweden, Handnav and Nemesis the Brodit importer it has been confirmed by Nemesis that it will not work with a Royaltek gps as they also have one that they cannot get to work.
Although everybody has been helpfull to try and resolve this I am still left with a £90 holder that I cannot use.
I am having to use a bottom plug in type holder for now which works ok but is not want I wanted as I wanted a no visible wire solution and was prepared to pay £90 for the pleasure.
I hope a solution will be found.
