Struth. I'd have to be parked up to drive as slowly as the UK government is at negotiating an exit strategy.

While they sort out their own career prospects thousands of EU citizens living in Britain and Brits living abroad would like to know where we stand.

Sorry, got political there. We retired to Germany 3 years ago and its difficult to keep a sense of humour when we might have to sell up and move back because we can't afford to live here anymore Sad Sad Sad

Anywho, I'll try out the clear flash thing today and see if it makes any difference Shocked

Many thanks

It's Johnny foreigner that is trying to screw us for more money that he isn't legally entitled to anyway that's holding things up. We could get on with it if we just opened our wallet and said 'Help yourself'. Don't blame Saint Theresa. Shocked Very Happy Very Happy

I'm not gonna turn this into a slanging match so will refuse to comment any further than the fact you have no idea what you're talking about.

Over and out

100% agree, they don't understand negotiation. We need to up sticks and walk away next month if they act like kids again.

It does seem much better thank you. Managed to run 'clear flash' a few times and updated to the latest map. Thanks for your help.

You might like to consider getting a micro SD card and copying everything to it and running from that instead of the 750's internal.

I did that a long time ago, thanks Dennis. I’ve been running the map from the SD card and the operating system from the device.

As I say, the device has always worked well accept for that two day period when it was really, really, sluggish to respond to map redrawing and even taking menu instructions. Each keystone seemed to take a few seconds to respond by which time I’d pressed it again, thinking that I hadn’t pressed it hard enough, and it cached up the instructions and changed the screen every few seconds as it tried to show me what I’d selected. I nearly lobbed it into the canal in Antwerp!!!

Having performed the clear flash thing several times it seems to be behaving itself again thanks Dennis.
