GO 5100 showing wrong time

have set up my new GO 5100 and it shows set to uk but time displayed is 1 hour ahead of uk time. in settings there is no way to adjust the time as it says this is done automatically.
the unit is connected to the satellites but shows the time with a small -1 next to the european time.

any ideas how i can get this unit to display the uk time please?

as a belated update (i have been away so was unable to post).
it turns out the unit was faulty. not only could the time not be altered to UK time but in 'driving' mode the screen failed to change to the map view so although you got sound directions you couldn't see on the map where you were positioned!!

anyway a new unit sent by amazon on the same day (excellent customer service there then. Tomtom take note) and all now sorted.
