Is it OV2 that is associated or the zip file containing them?

I think it's already been said that it's the ov2 the has the problem, not the zip file.

So in that case, why are you actually trying to OPEN the file? You only need to upload it to the device, not actually open it.

The file hasn't been changed to a pdf; it's just that windows is telling you that it wants to use Acrobat to open the file - but if all you want to do is move it to your device, then you can ignore this hint.

Have you tried actually uploading it? It might be worth giving this a go.

@ perthroad
Have you read and acted on my first two posts that suggests that you display the file extensions? This will completely remove any ambiguity over file type. The files that you have are a .zip file and it's contents include at least one .OV2 file.
Once that's done, try actually uploading the ov2 as daggers suggests.
You're being confused by Windows helpful but stupidly incorrect file association that seems to have associated .zip or .ov2 files with Adobe Acrobat thus leading you to (incorrectly) assume that they are .pdf files.
