Hi I have a Camper 760, its ok I think all sat navs have there limitations, I bought this about a year ago after seeing it advertised in a caravan mag, my Tom Tom Start 60 with an extra Camper map was giving me trouble, so splashed out as I also use it for work, I would not recommend a Garmin over a Tom Tom, the routing is suspicious, just look at posts on here, My first sat nav was a Garmin cant remember when that was, out side Chesterfield, where I live, the routing takes me off the main road and onto a service road, just outside the royal hospital, my first Garmin did the same, this happens at other places.
So back to your question I preferred the Tom Tom the problem I had with that was I bought a separate map which didn't come with lifetime updates, you can buy a Tom Tom with the camper map preinstalled, the way I did it was more cost effective at the time, the Garmin as I said is ok, I always check the route with other online route planners, and maps. A post on another forum I go on was a route from Pickering to Scarborough, the normal route takes you over a caravan prohibited hill, cant remember the name of if, the Garmin takes you on this route, mined you so did the Tom Tom, so sat navs are not perfect
