Live services on Go Live 540

The live services on my 8 yr old Go Live 540 has stopped working. I can update it from TomTom and from this site ok,cameras,quick fixes etc but when a route is planned I get a spinning disc/timer in the status bar on the right side and no live updates and when I go into menu for all services(fuel,weather etc)it has red screen and cannot connect to server. my subscription runs out 18/11/16 but I have a message in the live services in box saying subscription expired.I have looked on the Live services status screen on status and services and network and it says connected with 2 or 3 bars in the house.

Question 1 is it the device knackered or is there a fix available or is it TomTom server off again?.

Question 2 is if unit is knackered what is the newest model that has live traffic services and will accept PGPSW cameras,voices and POI's?.

Help would be much appreciated from the experts on here
