My 205W is about 6 years old, last month I replace the battery, now I get low battery warning when driving and connected via the Garmin power cable with the traffic FM aerial. Its getting impossible to use the device with the bleeps low batt.
Any ideas? |

Well my suggestion would be check the power socket in your car is supplying power. If it is check the fuse in the Garmin cable. If that's okay the cable itself could be faulty. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Yep, some modern cars have deep power sockets that some connectors don't reach to the bottom of. My Honda Civic is a prime example. My stock HTC USB adapters don't work so I had to get a third party one. _________________ Satnav:

Assuming the previous thoughts haven't shed any light on the problem, I'd suggest it's the mini-USB socket on the device itself.
What happens if you plug it into your PC?
