NVA-SD8110 - GPS wrong location heading in wrong direction

I noticed that the Sat Nav was going slightly off course, then a couple of days later at a round about it went totally bonkers and had me going in totally the wrong direction.
I updated all the software and the issue was even worse, where it was telling me I was 25 miles west of where I should be, on starting the car
I read about the cacheing issues with the GPS Quick Fix, so I deleted the files and re-installed
This has resolved one issue, at least when I start the car I am in the correct location
When I turn though, this is when the issue arises and I end up with the GS having me travelling in the wrong direction - for example I am driving South and the GPS is stating I am in a totally different location, heading East.

When it loses GPS signal, a factory reset, or stop the car to reset the GPS, all is well until I make a turning, then goes off course again

Any ideas would be gratefully received. I am also going to contact TomTom and will let you know if I get this resolved.
