Voice command is not available for British English?

My Nuvi 3597LM will not work via voice command when I press the voice command logo I get "voice command does not work for British English" but the unit is a UK bought one I have done a reset and also the unit does not "hear" my voice when I try to voice dial using my phone through Bluetooth ....does anyone have any explanations?

Have a look at the voice pack you are using, some work some don't. Voice command does work for the UK as I'm using it.

The only other thing to check is that you are using the map region the unit came with. Having said that though I changed my 2597 from Europe to UK maps to save having to use a SD card and voice command still works on that.
