alpine INE925R

Hi,

New user of this site but I am a subscriber and want to load the DB onto my new Alpine unit. The instructions seem to be telling me to connect via a computer - can I not just load the files onto a micro SD and load that way?

I'm not sure if this helps (I dumped my INE-W925R after a week!) but the instructions are so poor and contradictory it's no wonder you are confused!

I'd do as you think and use the card. Alpine and Naviextras refer to a card as a device, leaving a user inevitably puzzled when they mention 'installing' rather than copying.

If it doesn't work I can't help more, and given Alpine's record I wouldn't hold your breath for support from them.

I was thinking of dumping my Kenwood and getting an Alpine….
