Hi, I am new to a Garmin 3598 having moved from my old TT730 after 2 battery transplants. My Garmin has its own camera data so how will that work with PGPS's data if I load it on? Will I get duplicate warnings/symbols/voice messages, or can I turn one off?

Thanks

You'll get duplicates. You can delete the Garmin ones easily enough though, you'll find the files in the POI folder on your nuvi.

You should be able to turn the Garmin and/or PGPSW cameras off with tickboxes in one of the sub menus. I didn't get that far as I removed the Cyclops.gpi file via a PC connection.

You may be right ... but I didn't think they were listed separately. However it's been a looooooooong time since I had both installed Wink

Thanks for your replies.

I was under ther assumption that POI Loader consolidated all the POIs in one file, even if they list seperately on the device ??

Confused

PoiLoader is used to install the PGPSW warnings.

The Garmin Cyclops warnings are pre-loaded in the Garmin's memory.

As said above, you can easily delete the Cyclops ones from the device (and copy them to your PC if preferred).
And I agree there will probably be a tick-box in a sub-menu to simply turn them off.
