Hi
can anyone help me
I have had Tomtom for many years & always transfered my Poi accross to a new Tomtom easily.

The last one I had was the go920 great tool
but the new go 500 wont let me transfer poi over to it?

Tomtom have since emailed saying update maps which I did then it said there is a fault transfering & now I have no maps on my device
I have re booted & tried several times since with Antivirus & Firewall turned off but l am now out of ideas.

Are you sure your model of Tomtom can take custom / user loaded POI's?
I bought a Go6000 (£300+) earlier this year, and it was back in the shop next day, as you cant load custom POI's.
This appears to be the case for several models.
You have to use theirs, and you cant load your own ones.

Try a google for custom POI's and your tomtom model number.
As not ALL models have this problem.

I have had a TT for several years, but wont be having another until they fix these issues
