I'd prefer one combining all the major retailers to save me loading them company by company.
Yes again.

In detail:

i. Go to http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=POIs&Download

ii. Choose UK as the country in step 1 and wait for the long list of categories to load. (sometimes this is problematic, it seems to depend on your web-browser and whether there's an "r" in the month!)

iii. Select TomTom .ov2 in step 2.

iv. Select the supermarket brands you want from the list in step 3

v. Then select "Combine subcategories into category file" in step 4 to merge them all into a single "Supermarkets" POI

vi. Click "Download" and then unzip the downloaded file into the separate .ov2 and .bmp files

vii. Copy those files into the map folder on your TomTom.

Thanks, I downloaded the zip file to desktop -- I have a Mac running Firefox on Mavericks OSX -- but when I try to unzip it says 'Operation not permitted'. This is a first for me with this 3.5-year-old Mac. Is this a known issue? I do have a 2006 Windows xp PC gathering dust ... is it worth trying on that?

Hmm. The POI downloads page doesn't seem to include this...

I used Stuffit on my 2010 iMac with Firefox and Mavericks.

Thanks, Stuffit worked to unzip. Haven't installed on Tom Tom, so yet to see what there is in total, and how current the POIs are.
