Digital Traffic

Hi, I've had my 2598 for three weeks now and I'm generally happy with it, particularly the speed at which it retrieves the traffic data. However today it's refused to connect I've just got a message saying it's trying to find a signal. This was in an area where I've previously received traffic data with no problems. The only thing that's changed is the weather. Does anyone know if the weather affects the signal and data retrieval? I hope not as that's going to cause big problems with the time of year coming.
Is there any way you see what station it's receiving data from?

Weather shouldn't affect the signal. Could just have been an outage in your area, not usual but it does happen. if it doesn't connect tomorrow post back saying whereabouts you are.

A wild guess indicates that he could possibly be in Saffron Walden That's in Essex in case you were not sure.

It's retrieved traffic data fine over the weekend, so I guess it was just one of those things.

Well, he's left SW now and is only somewhere in Essex. Luckily he has a satnave to guide him home.
