I haven't seen any difference. You may find a hard reset helps, always worth doing after a software update

Yes, I am careful out there - but I do update my maps every 3 months and I do use the Garmin as an aid while keeping my eyes on signs as well! The bongs are particularly useful in France and other countries where speed camera data is now illegal.
I am not one of those irritating folk who drive fast between cameras, brake for the camera and then speed off again.
