Garmin StreetPilot C310 - Max Memory Card?

Hi All,

I've got a Garmin StreetPilot C310 which has european maps from 2013 preinstalled.
However, I want to get the latest map update which is CN Europe 2014.40 but after doing some research it appears that it's over 3GB in size.

Officially the satnav states it only supports 2GB, however on Amazon there's a listing available for a 4GB SD card:

Some third party websites also claim that it's maximum size is 4GB, however from other sites, some users can't get anything bigger than a 2GB working.

If it does support a 4GB card, should I get a class 4 or a class 10?

All is not lost though. Run Express and you'll get the option to install the full map to your PC and a map that will fit onto your StreetPilot. You can then load the balance to another card should you need to then swap cards as necessary. So for example you could install UK to device and install parts of Europe onto a card. Yes you do, that's what both our links (which are the same) are saying Wink

But I don't believe it's due to a different map layout, just that Express won't recognise the sd card like it will on newer devices.
