Not being a Mac user myself, I can only point you to the Installation Guide ande This Topic showing the difference between the Windows and Mac method.

You have to be aware that the Mac will generate a duplicate set of files that are called 'dot underscore' files. When you want to set the 'Warn When Near' feature you have to make sure you don't use the first files in the Drop Down List, as these are the duplicate files that the Mac system creates.

Thank you Richard,
after trying on my Mac & a PC my old tomtom one still does not show any pocketgps on the POI.
I presume its maybe not compatible, unfortunately neither is my tom tom start !
May have to buy another unit......any suggestions ?
Only want a 3.5" screen size maximum though.
Thanks for your help
Dave

Do you mean it does not show in the Warn When Near selection screen?

If so, it could be that you have placed them in the wrong place. All POIs are placed in the current map folder - named United Kingdom & ..., or Europe, depending on which map you have.

If you have the POIs in the correct place, perhaps you could list the steps you took. Then we can advise further on pointing you in the right direction.

The ONE certainly is compatible with 3rd Party POIs. Smile
