Google Maps. Wow what a service

I put in a change from a road to a footpath in my area late Friday afternoon. I received a 'You were right' email at 9:10 AM on Sat. They had already done the change when I checked but not got it quite right, so off went another change at 9:34. It had been done some time before 12:00. Wow, how about that for map correcttion then?

I've had a number of corrections accepted although they usually take about 6 months. Maybe it depends on what they can see on their streetview recordings etc? The corrections I made weren't on streetview...
