When someone submits a camera for the database we do not take it a gospel that the submission is correct. Unless there are multiple reports of the new cam in the same location, the camera reports are given to a team of volunteer verifiers, who charge about looking to see if a fixed cam is actually there and in the place and right speed that the submitter says or that the location of a mobile camera 'looks good' to be a mobile site.

These 'pending' cams are only visible to the PGPSW staff and verifiers. When a cam has been checked out by a verifier and he/she says it's OK, it is then available for downloading to the 'normal' user.

After a lot of pursuasion, management decided to allow the 'normal' user to download the 'pending' mobile camera sites as well as the verified mobile and fixed cameras.

So, the pmobile cameras are those locations that have been reported to PGPSW, but the site has not either been checked out by a verifier or has not had multiple reports of an active mobile at the location.

So it's up to you. My personal preference (if I was not a verifier) would be to have the pmobiles on my device. You will get more random alerts for mobile camera locations, but it is less likely that you will get trapped by one that we, the verifiers, have not got round to checking yet. Don't forget that mobile traps are not there for most of the time.

Whew, hope that makes sense otherwise I've just worn my two typing fingers out for nowt.
