Changing SIM

Does changing the Sim to another provider mess up the CamerAlert settings....does it make it think it's another device ?

No, I use dual sims in one of my phones and copilot runs fine whichever I have selected.

It's just we're in the CoPilot forum but (possibly) discussing CamerAlert!

In the case of CamerAlert changing SIM MAY trigger an different unique ID though for some reason it seems to depend on the phone and the version of Android etc.

Right...CoPilot using CamraAlert. It's no bother now as I took a chance and played around with a few spare sims I have...seems to be AOK.
