For the wildfire do you mean using our CamerAlert app? If so then the data is downloaded in the app itself.
The TomTom would require the ov2 download from the website.
Hope that helps?

Yes, it would. But the Android App doesn;t need a 'data file' to be installed like the tomtom does.

Hi jimag47, just to consolidate what MaFt & JockTamsonsBairn have said above.
An annual subscription to PgpsW allows you to download the PgpsW camera database onto up to three of your devices; Your TomTom, your HTC and something else.
However, the TomTom and HTC require different camera downloads but your one subscription covers both of these.
To download to your TomTom you first need to download the database from this website onto your Pc/Mac, unzip the download, connect your TomTom and transfer the camera files across to the SatNav, placing them into the folder which contains your current map. You then need to set your TT to notify you as your approach the cameras. (Quicker said than done!)
Your HTC needs to install the CamerAlert app from the Android Market. You then get one free download of the Camera Database to bring it up to date. Your HTC should be ready to use as the setting up has been done for you by default. To keep your HTC up to date with current camera locations it is necessary to link your HTC to your PgpsW account and then weekly updates are available for as long as you remain a subscriber. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
