Typhoon 7000 xl GPS not working

Hi. I just bought and typhoon 7000 xl second hand. By mistake the battery pack has been removed, and ever since the gps has not been working.
when I try to activate the X-road navigating system, the thyphoon keeps telling me: after installing the gps navigatoryou can assign this button to launch GPS navigation.
When opening the program ActiveSync I can not syncronice and the pocket pc and it only says "not connected"
what to do please??
