Anyone else here using Waze? Not all that useful for navigation just yet but I like the idea. I just leave it running next to my tomtom at the moment.

Finding mapping new roads and gobbling pacman cookies rather addicting.

I've got it loaded but struggled to register it. Despite having a log-in that works on their web-site it refuses to accept it on the iPhone app Evil or Very Mad

I've been playing around with this a fair bit over the last few days. Seems coverage is slowly increasing. Mostly limited to just major roads at the moment.

I haven't been able to test out the navigation in my area. Need more coverage first.

The online map editor seems to be simple enough to use. It seems to take about a day or two for changes to appear on the map. Likewise when you map new roads it takes a day or two to appear.

The one thing I was impressed with was traffic reports. It picked up a car crash down the road from where I live. This was on a road that had only been mapped out a day or two ago. When I went through the road had cleared. Sure enough it picked this up straight away and removed the traffic report.

If you want to see just how well it works once you get a decent number of people using it have a look at Italy. They seemed to be slightly obsessed with it there.
