I have ordered the TT720T but I am wondering if it will be any advantage over the Traffic master already fitted in my car? can any one explaine the differences

For a start the TomTom traffic data is supplied by a company called iTIS they are nothing to do with Traffic Master, using this in addition to the TM unit will give you data from both UK traffic suppliers.
The RDS-TMC device is fully integrated with the TomTom so delays show up on route, and the device can be set to auto avoid trouble spots (not something I would trust it to do though to be honest) - Mike
