Slowly trying to get my head round what is required!
New Brodit mount actually fits 2210, is there any difference apart from
cable between active and passive.ie could I still use my existing incar charging cable on a passive mount?
Still require proclip or similiar to attach mount? can they both be removed
from car easily and without leaving a mark?
Suppose question I should asked at start is have 2210 and TT BTGPS
what is best setup on market now?
Cheers

I have actually just finished installing the brodit mount in the car for my 2210.

The mount is installed on a proclip (specific for your car) and you still have to use the incar charging cable. The proclip can be removed easily without leaving any marks in the car (at least the one i have wich is for the Audi A2 console)

I have the 2210 with Haicom 203e GPS and the Brodit setup works fairly well. Only thing is that when i dock the 2210 in the Brodit mount my iPaq thinks it is supposed to start activesync and syncronize with my pc . That does not happen when i connect the 2210 directly to the combined charger/GPS cable that came with my GPS kit.

Disabling activesync before putting the 2210 in the brodit mount solves the problem.

I've just got this setup for my 2210 in a Land Rover Discovery. I reckon it's the dogs danglies. It's neat and easier to slip the 2210 in and out as required. All I need to do now is sort out the TTN2 driver issue.

Great piece of kit.
