CTIA has two shows a year, one in the spring, and one in the fall. The spring show focuses on infrastructure, and systems, whilst the fall show features more content and software. Both of the major mapping companies are present at the event with Navteq holding it's American LBS Challenge event at the show.

CTIA's fall trade show is the largest industry event whose sole focus is on the emerging role wireless data plays in the realms of Enterprise and Entertainment.
