pocketgpsworld.comTelmap have partnered with the Ordnance Survey to provide content to users of the Telmap 5 application. The Ordnance Survey's POI database offering 4,000,000 locations will be integrated into the Telmap location search functionality.

Telmap provide navigation solutions to wireless operators. The application is what is termed as a thin client having limited on-board functionality relying on the Telmap central servers to provide the maps, and location search functions. As the mapping and search for locations is centralised new features and up-to-date maps can be provided without having to upgrade the application on the device. This means that if you are using Telmap navigation product from one of the wireless operators you will automatically have access to these OS points of interest.
