Speed Cameras Take Their Revenge On Jeremy Clarkson
Article by: rob brady Date: 18 Oct 2014
TV's Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson once argued that speed cameras were not a stealth tax due to the low revenue they earned the country.
He suggested that just one individual, namely Simon Cowell, pays more revenue to the country's coffers than all its speed cameras put together.
That said, Clarkson still intensely dislikes speed cameras and makes no secret of it.
Last month witnessed another classic Clarkson rant in the Sun newspaper about the speed cameras on his journey from Whitby and London.
How ironic that news now emerges that the objects of his hate, of which he was clearly aware of on his journey, managed to catch him speeding.
He commented "Sadly, I was going too quickly for the speed awareness course to be an option. Which means I'm getting some points on my licence. My first in 30 years."

Perhaps you should offer him a free/evaluation copy of the Speed Camera Database!

Don't offer him anything free. He is rich. Also, this is only the FIRST case of him having been caught speeding IN A MANNER THAT MEANT HE GETS PROSECUTED. He's speeded on camera on Top Gear.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Nexus 5, Galaxy tab S3. Also use OSMAnd+, Sygic Mobile Maps, and OS maps app. Also "Great Britain Topo Maps" and "Old Maps". Don't use speed camera database as sticking to the limit is safer. |
