Not Enough Speeders To Keep Nevada Supreme Court In Funds
Article by: rob brady Date: 31 Mar 2015
Many consider speed cameras as purely revenue generators, but in the US, it appears they have stopped paying to their full potential.
Fox News has reported that there are not enough speeders to keep Nevada Supreme Court in funds - it only has enough cash until May 1st.
Supposedly, some agencies are going broke and having to adjust budgets due to fewer drivers receiving speeding fines.
The reason given for the drop is that motorists know where the cameras are and abide by the speed limit. Police officers across the US are issuing less speeding tickets and authorities are increasingly reliant on speed cameras doing the job.

"Fox News". No more to be said, really. Any information from that dreadful organisation is tainted by default.

This sad story shows the difference between 'us' and 'them'.
In the US, they strangely believe that speed cameras are for making money, whereas over here, we believe they make drivers slow down. That's why we've got more speed cameras than them.
