Ford have unveiled a new eBike concept called the MoDe:Flex, an electric assist bike that, they hope, will convince you to mix driving and cycling in your daily commute.

Using a dedicated app, MoDe:Link, you can plan a commute that mixes car and bike journeys and, with that in mind, the MoDe:Flex can be quickly broken down into two boot friendly parts. Leave home in the car, drive to an out of town car park and then cycle the last leg of the journey.

MoDe:Flex is also equipped with LED lights, a removable battery pack for easy charging and can be configured for road or off-road cycling.

This is still firmly in the prototype stage but it's the third bike Ford have shown off so it would seem they are serious about looking at this as a future product.
