A cleaner stole �80,000 worth of sat-navs from Toyota's car factory in Derbyshire and sold many of them on eBay.

He took them during his normal cleaning rounds, when the factory was quiet, over a period of six months.

It was discovered that the sat-nav, along with other items, were missing after an internal investigation and the authorities were duly informed.

When police raided 41-year-old Juris Jakimjonoks' home they found 236 new Toyota sat-navs and other smaller car parts in his garden shed.

Online investigators were able to link an eBay account selling the sat-navs to Jakimjonoks and he was subsequently jailed for 10 months.
