The public are being given the chance to ask questions directly to North Yorkshire's police speed camera team via an hour long live web chat on Wednesday 15th May at 6pm.
The manager of North Yorkshire Police’s mobile safety camera team, Dave Brown, and PC Andy Forth will host the chat, in what promises to be a lively session.
Mr Brown commented: "This is a chance for members of the public to ask questions and find out anything they want to know about the cameras, how they are operated, why we use them and what happens once you’ve been caught speeding."
The subject will focus specifically on mobile speed cameras following the introduction of three mobile speed cameras following a 20-month pilot scheme in the area.
You can participate here, but it appears that questions and comments during the chat are published at the police's discretion. The police can view all comments sent to them but only they can publish comments for everyone to see.
